Hamilton FAQ

HAMILTON will be coming to Dayton January 26-February 6, 2022 as part of the 2021-2022 Premier Health Broadway in Dayton Season! Single tickets are not on sale yet, but below are answers to frequently asked questions.

When will HAMILTON be in Dayton?

HAMILTON will make its Dayton debut at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center January 26–February 6, 2022 as part of the 2021-2022 Premier Health Broadway in Dayton Season. Two weeks – 16 performances total.

How do I get tickets?

Single tickets are not yet on sale for HAMILTON. They will be on sale this fall. The best way to stay informed is by signing up for our email list at daytonlive.org/email-signup. You will receive updates and be the first to know when tickets will go on sale. A percentage of the total tickets available will be saved to go on sale in the fall.

When will tickets go on sale?

The public on sale date for HAMILTON will be sometime in the fall.

What will the ticket prices be?

Single ticket prices have not yet been announced.

Where can I purchase tickets to HAMILTON?

Dayton Live is your only authorized source for tickets and information. DaytonLive.org and the venue Box Offices are the only official ticket sellers of HAMILTON in Dayton. If you see tickets listed anywhere else, there is no guarantee those tickets will be legitimate and/or priced correctly.

I’d like to bring a group – how can I do that?

Limited inventory may be available for group sales to HAMILTON at a later date. Email betty.gould@daytonlive.org for more information.

For what age is HAMILTON appropriate?

Because HAMILTON contains some strong language, the show is recommended for ages 10+. Infants are not allowed in the theatre. Children 6 years of age and above are permitted but must have their own ticket.

Will there be a lottery for HAMILTON?

YES! There will be a lottery for a limited number of $10 tickets to HAMILTON. Details will be announced closer to the engagement.

Which tour will be coming to Dayton?

There are multiple official touring companies of HAMILTON here in the U.S. and abroad. Dayton will host the Philip Tour.

What is HAMILTON about?

HAMILTON is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.
