Kites Of Kindness
Because Every Person Deserves To Be Treated With Respect And Dignity
There is power in kindness. Kites Of Kindness is a community engagement project that invites people in the Dayton region and beyond to create messages of hope and support for people suffering all over the world onto paper kite templates.
The goal is to collect 10,000 kites from the community and have them on display in the Victoria Theatre lobby during the run of THE KITE RUNNER and other locations in the Dayton region.

- Write words, draw pictures, paste images – let your creativity and kindness flow as you decorate this kite!
- Return your completed kite by May 1, 2024 to one of the locations listed below.
- Your kite will be displayed at the Victoria Theatre during THE KITE RUNNER!
Drop off your completed kite at one of these locations:
- Schuster Center Box Office (during normal business hours)
- Starbucks At The Schuster Center (during normal business hours)
- Any Dayton Metro Library Branch (during normal business hours)
- The International Peace Museum (during normal business hours)
- The Human Race Theatre Company (The Loft Theatre vestibule entrance)
Afghans Of Dayton
This exhibit at the Victoria Theatre during the run of THE KITE RUNNER will feature the art, culture, and stories of Afghans who have made Dayton their home.
