Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: The Magic Flute

This concert introduces the Philharmonic’s spectacular new Principal Flute, Elvin Schlanger, to Dayton audiences in Mozart’s Flute Concerto before the program dives into a newly reimagined concert version of The Magic Flute. Conceived by Kathleen Clawson and Keitaro Harada, FLUTOPIA celebrates the artistry of DPAA’s musicians and the timeless wit of Mozart’s storytelling – an evening of pure, breathy magic that shows exactly why DPAA is so special.

Age Recommendation

All audience members must have a ticket, regardless of age. For the consideration of all patrons, children on laps and/or babes in arms are not permitted at most Dayton Performing Arts Alliance presentations.

Parking

The Arts Garage, on the northwest corner of Second and Ludlow Streets, open for all performances at the Schuster Center and Victoria Theatre. The Arts Garage is owned and operated by Dayton Live, so parking there actually helps support the arts venues used by all our great arts organizations. Dayton Live is the only outlet authorized to sell tickets to events at the Schuster Center, Victoria Theatre, PNC Arts Annex, and The Loft Theatre.
