Faithfully: The Music Of Journey
Journey is one of the most popular American rock bands in the world, with 25 gold and platinum albums and 19 top-40 singles. The story of Journey is, indeed, a journey of epic proportions. It started in 1973 in San Francisco. Musicians who had formerly belonged to the bands Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch decided to join forces in a new musical entity; they formed a band they aptly named Journey. And the rest, as they say, is history. As a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in 2017, Journey has become a rock ’n’ roll staple around the world. The Dayton Philharmonic is thrilled to honor this legendary band. Don’t stop believing!
