The Black Tour World Premiere
Are you ready for the dance tour of the millennia? Dayton Contemporary Dance Company presents THE BLACK TOUR, a holistic journey through art and cultural experience through four performance narratives. Featuring new work by 2021 Guggenheim Fellow Tommie Waheed Evans, this community cultural event will premier in Dayton, and proceed to engage museum, gallery and Historically Black Colleges and University spaces nation-wide. THE BLACK TOUR will ignite the power of black dance to redefine the culture of performance and present a new future for dance art. The Arts Garage, on the northwest corner of Second and Ludlow Streets, open for all performances at the Schuster Center, Victoria Theatre, and PNC Arts Annex.
